The government of Canada recently doubled its economic support to Pakistan to $60 million dollars. Jason Kenney has identified Pakistan as a critical source of foreign workers for Canada, and addressed the significant delays in processing of applications for potential Pakistani migrants to Canada, promising that the government will henceforth try to reduce the processing time for these cases.
